Chaima Eddib, Khadija Imad, and Asmaa Baha, second-year undergraduate students at the College of Computing were selected as one of 7 finalists in the Barrier-free Accessible Mobility Pitch-off Competition at the 2024 IEEE International Conference on Smart Mobility (SM in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Their project, “WheelGo,” an Al-powered app designed to assist individuals with disabilities, was developed under the expert supervision of Dr. Loubna Mekouar. This international competition welcomed participants from both academic and industrial backgrounds, offering them the opportunity to pitch their forward-thinking solutions in the field of smart and inclusive mobility.
