‘The development of a start-up is not just a question of innovation, it is also a question of access to markets, investment and the right support system’, she emphasised, noting that the UM6P experience reflects the “spirit of Marrakech”, which symbolises openness and global cooperation.
UM6P offers entrepreneurs training, incubation and resources to help them expand their activities beyond local borders, she explained.
She adds that by stimulating international partnerships and connecting founders to global networks, the University enables start-ups to conquer new markets, attract investment and stimulate economic growth.
The presenter went on to meet Yassine Laghzioui, Managing Director of ‘UM6P Ventures’, the University’s investment arm, who recalled that this entrepreneurial ecosystem was launched four years ago, with a phase of acculturation and training in the entrepreneurial spirit through the Entrepreneurship Academy and a second stage consisting of pre-incubation and incubation programmes.
