From the 6th to the 8th of February, LYDEX Rabat secured the championship title at the 5th Arab Taekwondo Cup in Fujairah, UAE, earning 8 medals—6 gold and 2 silver—and receiving the Best Performance of the Competition award.
Moroccan athletes delivered strong performances throughout the competition. Zakaria Khuyar won silver in the +87 kg men’s category, while Farah Tawazani claimed gold in the -46 kg women’s category. Khadijah Al-Madarar also secured gold in the +73kg women’s category, contributing to the team’s overall success.
These achievements reflect Morocco’s growing presence in taekwondo and LYDEX Rabat’s dedication to both athletic and academic excellence on the international stage.
