UM6P joins the Africa Business Conference at Harvard to discuss diaspora-driven entrepreneurship.

This week, UM6P took part in the 27th Annual Africa Business Conference at Harvard Business School, actively engaging in discussions on scaling African ventures at Harvard. Representing UM6P, M. Khalid Baddou, Director of Institutional Affairs, participated in a panel titled “Diaspora-Driven Entrepreneurship: Bridging Markets and Scaling African Ventures.”

The discussion emphasized the African diaspora’s role in fostering entrepreneurship, transferring knowledge, and mobilizing investment. M. Baddou highlighted King Mohammed VI’s vision for engaging Moroccan talent abroad while exploring strategies for scaling African ventures, fintech innovations, and university-led initiatives like UM6P Associates and Bridge Africa.

The conversation reinforced the urgent need for long-term partnerships, policy alignment, and investment solutions to drive Africa’s entrepreneurial growth.
