Professor Chirinda Joins climate bond initiative to advance agriculture standards 

Professor Ngonidzashe Chirinda has been selected as the only representative of Morocco and UM6P among 12 global experts in the Technical and Industry Working Group of the Climate Bond Initiative. This group played a key role in developing the recently released Climate Bond Initiative’s Agriculture Production Criteria. The Climate Bond Initiative is an international organization dedicated to mobilizing to mobilize global capital for climate action. Its Bond Standard and Certification system is a labeling scheme for Entities, Assets, and Debt Instruments. The system is used globally by bond issuers, governments, investors, and the financial markets to prioritize investments that make a real contribution to tackling climate change.
