With a total of 7,229 students from 40 nationalities, the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) has almost one thousand (995) doctoral students, divided between its main campus in Benguerir (near Marrakech) and its branches in Rabat, Laayoune, Paris, and Montreal. Founded by the OCP Group, UM6P is dedicated to the development of innovative solutions to the challenges facing Africa, and has therefore entered into a new partnership with the Alliance of African Research Universities (ARUA), a veritable “African Ivy League” of which it became the 20 th member in March 2024 – and the very first in North Africa.
