In addition to the challenges that I have mentioned before, I think that Morocco, and all African countries, are also concerned by the technological gap that may emerge between them and other developed nations. That is why I believe it is important for the African community to work on reducing this gap by embracing and integrating new technologies at a comparable pace to the rest of the world.
As a member of the research community in this field, I am committed to contributing to the development of AI that takes into account our national and continental context, and this through applied research projects that help us to see the impact of this technology in real life.
Also, teaching state-of-the-art technologies to our students will help to enhance the knowledge of our future generation in this field.
