Where Science Meets Purpose: DeepTech Summit 2025 Is Coming to UM6P
From May 8 to 9, 2025, UM6P Campus Benguerir will transform into a global DeepTech hub as it hosts the second edition of the DeepTech Summit. The event is set to welcome over 7,000 participants, including 3,000+ students, 980 startups, and a strong international presence from 53 countries. At the heart of this year’s theme—“Redefining Progress”—is one bold question: how can AI and DeepTech technologies accelerate sustainable, inclusive, and scalable solutions for the future?

In a press conference held in Benguerir, Amina Lahbabi, Head of Corporate Communication at UM6P, and Yassine Ghzioui, Chief Executive Officer at UM6P Ventures, shared key insights into the summit’s structure and ambition. With 186 confirmed speakers, 83 curated startups, and more than 20 institutional partners, DTS 2025 positions itself as a high-impact meeting point for researchers, innovators, policymakers, and investors. Their goal? Make Morocco a continental—and global—launchpad for DeepTech excellence.
The summit will feature 66 thematic sessions across 11 domains, including AI in health, climate adaptation, cybersecurity, biotech, and energy systems. The program includes expert panels, startup pitch battles, and hands-on workshops, all taking place in UM6P’s futuristic venues like the Auditorium 2017 and the innovation pavilions. A dedicated exhibition area will allow participants to interact directly with cutting-edge prototypes and next-gen technologies being developed across Africa and beyond.
But DTS 2025 is more than a conference—it’s a catalyst. From guided campus tours and investor-founder matchmaking to the launch of the DTS Prize ($50,000 and startup support), every part of the experience is designed to turn science into impact. Whether you’re a student with a bold idea or a funder looking for game-changing ventures, this is where future-shaping conversations begin.
