May 26th to 29th | UM6P Campus in Benguerir
The Institute for Advanced Studies announces its upcoming international colloquium titled “The Foundations of Quantum Physics”, to be held from May 26 to May 29, 2025, at UM6P’s Benguerir Campus.
Organized on the occasion of the centenary of quantum mechanics and the 10th anniversary of the Treilles Seminar, this special edition is dedicated to the memory of Bernard d’Espagnat (1921–2015)—a key figure in the philosophy of quantum physics.
Inspired by the tradition of the Treilles Seminars, this four-day event will convene top international researchers to engage in deep, continuous scientific exchange on the conceptual and philosophical foundations of quantum theory.
A public session will be held on Thursday, May 29, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, in the Benguerir Room (Ryad Center).
