The new ‘UM6P-MAScIR MPOX PCR’ diagnostic kit has been announced by the MAScIR Foundation, part of the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P), and is ready for sale in Morocco and Africa.
Conceived by a team from the MAScIR Foundation (Moroccan Foundation for Advanced Science, Innovation and Research) at UMP6, the test had been clinically approved by the Institut National de Recherche Biomédicale (INRB) in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo and registered with the Medicines and Pharmacy Department (DMP) of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
