The two-day program offered a dual focus. On day one, the spotlight was on real-world innovation: sectoral applications, entrepreneurial showcases, and keynote addresses from Mr. Hicham El Habti (UM6P President), Mr. Aziz Akhannouch (Head of Government), and Mrs. Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni (Minister Delegate for Digital Transition). Their interventions outlined Morocco’s ambition to align AI development with social priorities, industrial transformation, and ethical governance. On day two, the dialogue turned toward international cooperation, regulatory frameworks, and the geopolitics of AI — including roundtables on public health, cybersecurity, digital media, and South-South collaboration.

By the close of the conference, several strategic partnerships had been signed, reinforcing UM6P’s leadership as a driver of responsible innovation and inclusive digital policy. As Morocco moves forward with its AI agenda, this inaugural conference laid the groundwork for a long-term ecosystem of knowledge, cooperation, and homegrown excellencerooted in Morocco, but designed for global impact.
