Next Africa: UM6P’s Bold Initiative to Propel African Startups onto the Global Stage

To expand its global footprint, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) has recently launched Next Africa—the inaugural Europe-Africa acceleration program in Station F, the world’s biggest startup campus. This groundbreaking program will give entrepreneurs and startups in key industries such as energy, agriculture, green-tech, and health the tools, guidance, and worldwide exposure to accelerate innovation. Next Africa offers a unique transcontinental experience where participants can split their time between Paris and Morocco, leveraging intense ecosystems that fuel creativity, investment, and strategic partnerships. Focusing on putting African talent at the forefront of global innovation, this program aims to revolutionize the entrepreneurial landscape, cementing Africa’s reputation as a source of sustainable, tech-enabled solutions.

Through this alliance with Station F, UM6P is not only improving the startup environment in Africa but creating a robust connection between continents as well. Based at the heart of Paris, Station F is where a lively startup community of over 1,000 startups and 30 supporting programs are based, hosting avantgarde infrastructure, co-working, and co-living amenities tailor-made for high-growth entrepreneurs. This partnership is a vision to foster cooperation, knowledge sharing, and investment between Europe and Africa so that African and Moroccan innovators are given the visibility and resources they need to scale globally. Next Africa’s purpose of getting Africa’s best and brightest onto the global stage is more than an accelerator program—it is a call for a larger, more integrated future.
