“The Road of History” Celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Green March Across UM6P Campuses

From November 3 to 6, 2025, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic, through its Student Affairs Department, organized “The Road of History” — a multi-campus, intercultural event marking the 50th Anniversary of the Green March.

The program united students, faculty, and community members from UM6P’s Rabat, Benguerir, and Laayoune campuses in a collective celebration of national pride, creativity, and dialogue. Over four days, participants took part in discussion sessions, artistic workshops, and cultural activities, reflecting on Morocco’s legacy while reaffirming UM6P’s commitment to civic engagement and shared identity.

The journey began in Rabat, continued in Benguerir, and concluded in Laayoune with a commemorative ceremony honoring the values of peace, unity, and national solidarity.
A key highlight was the creation of three collaborative artistic tributes, including a collective painting enriched by participants from each campus — a symbolic expression of connection and shared creation.

“The Road of History” embodied UM6P’s mission to nurture an engaged, creative, and forward-looking youth, rooted in history and driven to shape a common future.
