Training for Morocco’s Sustainable Future Begins on Campus
On July 29, the Centre de Formation des Métiers de Développement Vert celebrated the graduation of its very first cohort at the UM6P Benguerir campus, marking the successful completion of its inaugural green training cycle. Hosted by APEE (Académie des Professions de l’Énergie et de l’Environnement), this certification is a milestone in the national effort to develop talent for the green economy.

The program awarded Higher Technician Certificates in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and water treatment technologies—fields at the heart of Morocco’s ecological transition. More than just a graduation, the ceremony embodied UM6P’s ongoing mission to equip young professionals with the skills needed to support sustainable development and shape the future of environmental engineering and clean technology in Africa.
This initiative aligns with UM6P’s long-term strategy to provide high-quality, hands-on education in critical sectors driving the national green transition, empowering graduates to turn knowledge into climate-conscious solutions.
