UM6P launches new sports subsidiary Evosport

University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) is getting involved in sports by launching a new subsidiary called Evosport. This initiative is part of the national strategy to make sport a vector for economic and social progress.

It aims to respond to the need to structure and professionalize sport in Morocco while supporting the emergence of a new generation of sporting talent.

Its strategy is based on three main axes. Firstly, investment in talent and infrastructure. The subsidiary focuses its actions on professionalizing national sport, through the development of talent and the establishment of modern sports infrastructures, to support excellence and ensure sustainable growth in the sector in several disciplines. In this context, it has been entrusted with the task of implementing the program resulting from the creation of the National Training Fund, the fruit of a partnership between the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), the OCP Group, and other private players.

Secondly, training and innovation. Evosport offers academic programs and innovative solutions, to meet the current needs of the sports industry. These initiatives aim to equip professionals with the skills they need to contribute to the sector’s development. Read the article
