University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) and Station F, the world’s largest startup campus based in Paris, have partnered to promote innovation and strengthen ties between Europe and Africa.
The program, entitled NextAfrica, aims to support and accelerate the development of international startups interested in the African market in sectors such as Greentech, Agritech, and Healthtech, all of which fall within UM6P’s strategic positioning, says the university in a press release.
Through this partnership, UM6P will have a dedicated space of over 40 workstations at Station F, adding the same source, and specifying that this partnership offers startups unique opportunities combining mentoring, financing possibilities, technical support, and privileged access to African markets. It will leverage the scientific expertise and wealth of UMP’s laboratories, promoting exchanges with its researchers and experts, and bringing a valuable local and African perspective to startups. In addition to operational support, startups will benefit from strategic connections with key players in Morocco and Africa and technological and business partnership opportunities.
At the same time, integration into Station F’s dynamic ecosystem will offer them unique leverage to accelerate their growth and consolidate their position on European and African markets.
