Addressing sustainable energy intermittence for green Ammonia production

We are pleased to share with the UM6P community that our colleagues from The Applied Chemistry & Engineering Research Centre of Excellence, have published a scientific article entitled: “Addressing sustainable energy intermittence for green ammonia production”.

In this study, the research team provided an unprecedented analysis to shed light on the renewable energies’ intermittency for Green Ammonia production in the kingdom of Morocco.

For this purpose, the team developed a techno-economic model to assess the production cost of Green Ammonia in the kingdom from a plant solely powered by a variety of renewable energy sources (PV, Wind, CSP, energy storage systems (Battery, and TES.)
