Phosphate mining: Senegal looks to Morocco for inspiration

Senegal is looking to Morocco for inspiration on how to make better use of its phosphate. A delegation led by the Senegalese Minister of Industry and Trade, Serigne Gueye Diop, paid a visit to the Kingdom last week, to study the ecosystem put in place by the OCP group in Morocco.

The delegation visited the Khouribga mine, the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) and the Jort Lasfar industrial platform.
