On the 9th and 10th of April, the first edition of the World Football Summit (WFS) Rabat was held at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic at its Campus in Rabat, in partnership with Evosport, a UM6P subsidiary, and in collaboration with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).

The summit brought together 1,077 participants from 70 countries, including representatives from 65 clubs, leagues, and federations, to reflect on the role of African football within global dynamics ahead of the 2030 FIFA World Cup. Discussions focused on governance, talent development, financial models, and technology in football.

The WFS Honors Ceremony highlighted initiatives and actors contributing to football development, including the Académie Mohammed VI, Frederic Kanouté, the OCP Group, the FRMF, and the African Club Association (ACA). Speakers from FIFA, CAF, ECA, and ministries from Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya took part in the exchanges, alongside organizations such as FC Barcelona, LALIGA, and the NBA. The summit marked a step forward in building cross-continental dialogue in sport.
