AIP/ The first Ivorian doctor from University Mohammed VI Polytechnic wants to bring his expertise in agri-environment to his country

Agboville, Jan 21, 2025 (AIP) – The first Ivorian doctor to graduate from Morocco’s Mohammed VI University (UM6P), Dr. Guéablé Donatien, has expressed his willingness to bring his agri-environmental expertise to Côte d’Ivoire, at the level of cash crops whose plantations are aging and land exhausted, by rethinking the rehabilitation model.

“Most of my work has been carried out in arid and semi-arid zones, where the difficulties of degraded soils are greater than in the north of our country. However, these areas in Morocco have been able to develop interesting models of resilience from which Côte d’Ivoire can benefit”, said Dr. Guéablé on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in an online interview with AIP.

He also pointed out that abandoned mines and those in operation can be rehabilitated. In addition to this sector, he also has ambitions to join the field of training and research in national and international institutions where the government can allow him to integrate to help his country.
