NARSA & UM6P presented the smart car prototype *Smart Drive Test* 

As part of the reform system launched by the National Agency for Road Safety (NARSA), the prototype of the intelligent car “Smart Drive Test” was presented by Mr. Boulaajoul – Director of NARSA, with the presence of professionals of driving schools in Morocco.

This smart car will be used for the practical test for obtaining the driving license and will further make the operation of obtaining the driving license more credible, ensuring that it has been obtained with merit and that the learner driver masters the techniques and rules of driving. NARSA will ensure a sound application of the decision imposing the practical test, especially regarding driving in public spaces and off-road, while implementing this project gradually and affirming the transition to the manufacturing stage to ensure a sufficient number of smart cars. 

For his part, the Director of the Digital Innovation Center of Excellence at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, Mr. Rafiq El Alami, ensured that this project, the result of two years of work, has mobilized skills in the scientific, technical, and research fields at the university in cooperation with NARSA, to design this smart car that will change the mode of assessment of the practical test by adopting mechanisms based on artificial intelligence.
