Finance meets Climate Action at ABS’s Inaugural Climate Finance Conference

On June 12th and 13th, the Africa Business School (ABS) at UM6P Rabat will convene international scholars, researchers, and practitioners for the first edition of the ABS Climate Finance Conference—a pioneering academic event exploring the shifting frontiers of finance in the age of climate change.
Structured as a two-day intellectual exchange, the conference is set to unpack some of the most urgent questions at the nexus of financial systems, climate risk, and sustainable development. Featured sessions will delve into:
- Climate-related financial risk and disclosure
- Sustainable and responsible investing
- ESG governance and regulatory frameworks
- Innovative financing for energy transition in emerging regions
