A Campus Tour That Reconnects People with Nature

To mark International Forest Day, UM6P’s Sustainable Development Department invited students and staff to explore the campus through a guided biodiversity tour. From native plants to sustainable landscaping, the initiative raised awareness of the ecological value embedded in the university’s environment.

As part of the celebration of International Forest Day, the Sustainable Development Department organized a campus biodiversity tour, engaging students and staff in discovering the campus ecosystem.

The tour featured 11 plant species and interactive sessions led by the department’s biodiversity intern, offering insights into ongoing projects and sustainable practices. Participants gained a deeper understanding of the local flora and the importance of ecological preservation.
